The holiday season can be very difficult. When the world around us is entrenched in twinkling lights, parties and nutmeg, those who are missing their child are often wishing it would all be over with before it even starts. Where do we turn and what do we do when the ‘most wonderful time of the year’ becomes the hardest to face? A Memory Grows invites you to join us as we talk about, create and find meaningful ways to honor our children, incorporate them into traditions and make memories during the holiday season.
The bond between a parent and child begins long before birth and is a bond that transcends time and never ends. The journey of grief and finding a way to navigate the days and nights after the death of a child can be incredibly hard. There is so much love and no tangible place to direct it. You are not alone.
We would be honored to join you as you create a legacy and celebrate your child. Connecting with others who understand this journey of love and grief is often one of the most important parts of healing.
The $200 non-refundable cost includes all lodging with beautiful accommodations at the Iron Horse Inn Bed & Breakfast, programming costs(includes all materials for remembrance activities, rituals, and Licensed Professional Counselor) as well as 7 meals. The only thing that is not covered is the cost of whatever the parent/s decide to do during the free night.
Due to a generous grant a large part of the retreat cost is being underwritten.
