Community and support are more important now than possibly ever before. The isolation that has emerged due to the current pandemic has only intensified many aspects of grief. A Memory Grows continues to remain committed to journeying with parents who are grieving the death of their child. At this time, we are unable to gather in person for our scheduled retreats and special events but we have shifted our focus to finding ways to offer high quality intentional support virtually.
Each month we will offer a variety of community and support groups. Some of these groups will be facilitated by counselors while others will be led by parents who have walked that specific journey of loss and will be a time to share and gather support. Two times a month we will offer virtual sessions for parents to process and express their grief through painting or another source of art experiential. Groups will be limited in size so that all who participate will have time to share.
Registration is required so we can plan for each group. Supplies for the painting and art experientials will need to be purchased by the participant. Thanks to the generosity of our gracious donors we will be able to offer these groups at no charge to those who wish to participate. If you wish to make a donation you can do so by clicking here: amemorygrows.org/donate.
