Box 34282\, Fort Worth\, TX 76162. \nThe Legacy 5K Fun Run is A Memory Grow’s annual run and walk. This race is open to anyone who would like to join us as we honor the lives and legacies of our children. While our race is not officially timed by a timing company\, we have many serious runners who participate each year. Our participants include parents who have experienced the death of a child\, friends and family of grieving parents\, community members who want to support our organization\, and casual or serious runners and walkers. The Legacy 5K is an uplifting event full of hope\, community\, and love. \nA Memory Grows is committed to journeying with parents who are grieving the death of their child at any age. No matter how long we were able to have them\, it could never have been long enough. We are thrilled to be moving into our 9th year of offering retreats. We offer 8-9 retreats a year as well as 6 special events. Parents have journeyed from 27 different states and Canada to find a community that is like no other. Since 2022 we have expanded our outreach to the families of the Robb Elementary shooting in Uvalde\, Texas. Our new retreat venue provides a peaceful setting for remembering\, celebrating\, honoring\, and looking forward for our families. We are so honored to be able to walk beside so many on a journey that no one ever expects to travel. We are stronger when we are together and are assured that we are not alone and that our children are forever ours and we are forever theirs. \nWe hope you will join us in whatever way that you possibly can on March 29th! We would love for you to form a team and celebrate your child. We would love for you to walk or run from wherever you are if you are not local. We would love for you to volunteer! We are so excited about gathering\, celebrating and honoring our children who have touched our lives and our world and left us never the same. Their love carries on.
