Community and support are more important now than possibly ever before. The isolation that has emerged due to the current pandemic has only intensified many aspects of grief. A Memory Grows continues to remain committed to journeying with parents who are grieving the death of their child.
This summer we will be working our way through Megan Divine’s Journal, “How to Carry What Can’t Be Fixed: A Journal for Grief.” This is a great opportunity for personal reflection and group sharing and support. We will break up the journal prompts found in the book into four different sessions through June, July and August.
In between the Journaling and Sharing Sessions will be times filled with different practices of reflection and positive grief expression. Materials for these activities will need to be purchased on your own and you will need to have them ready at the beginning of the session. A suggestion supply list will be provided to those who register!
The groups are free to attend but you must register to receive the secure Zoom link and supply list. We know that summer schedules may not allow everyone who registers to be present for each session but we hope that you will commit to being a part of the group for as many sessions as possible!

Weekly Wednesday Night Community Support
Each Wednesday night at 7pm Central Time, a group of parents gather from across the country via Zoom to offer one another support for the journey. Over the past two years we have found that together we can find our way. We are stronger when we are together, even if together means virtually. When we find others who understand this journey, it does not matter the distance between us because it is the bond that we share that unites us. We would love for you to be a part of this special group. You can come one week or every week. Sometimes we just listen, other times we laugh and cry, sometimes we talk about books and other times we share stories and work through process activities. Through it all we celebrate our children and find a sustaining connection for the days and weeks ahead.
The group is free to attend but you must register to receive the secure Zoom link. Please register below and we will be in touch with you soon!
